Only 3% of sex offences reported to North Wales Police out of 2,500 rape and sexual offences reported!

This is shocking, no wonder so many of the grooming gangs and rape  gangs are getting away with it! I feel so sorry for the victims. MORE than 2,500 rape and sexual offences have been reported to North Wales Police in the last year, but just three per cent resulted in a charge.

It comes as the minister for safeguarding and violence against women and girls, Jess Phillips says victims are being “let down time and time again.”

New data obtained by Sexual Abuse Compensation Advice (SACA) following a Freedom of Information request has revealed that between September 2023 and September 2024, a total of 2,558 offences were reported to the North Wales force - up from 2,446 the year before. 

But of those reported in the last year, just 70 resulted in a charge or summons.
