Llandudno...‘Considerable’ jewellery stolen in ‘terrifying’ burglary

We were in Llandudno after the event as out daughter was down to stay. We took her and her husband out to Llandudno for a meal, and saw all the police hours after the robbery. This sort of thing is awful, it leaves people feeling unsafe in their own home. I hope they recover the items,  A QUANTITY of jewellery was stolen in a “terrifying” aggravated burglary incident in Llandudno.

In the early hours of November 3, 2024, a house on Abbey Road was targeted by burglars between 12.41am and 3.33am.

Items stolen included diamond rings, two necklaces, a watch, a bracelet, and costume jewellery. North Wales Police is seeking to trace a vehicle, pictured above, in connection with the incident.

Investigating officer, detective constable Sean Harrison, said: “This was a terrifying incident for the victim, and we are continuing to follow all lines of enquiry to ensure those responsible are caught.

“We know at least two people approached the house at 12.41am and broke in through a window, where they stole a considerable amount of jewellery.

“They were seen leaving the house at 3.33am in the direction of Abbey Place.

“At 3.35am, CCTV footage shows the pictured vehicle, which appears to be a Land Rover, travelling past the victim’s home.

“I am asking anyone who recognises this car, or anyone who thinks they might have seen it travelling in the area before or after the burglary, and has CCTV or dashcam footage, to contact us.

“I am also appealing to anybody who witnessed this incident, or noticed anything suspicious at the time, to get in touch.”
