Llandudno...Man charged after defecating in alley just by Promenade!

This will happen more and more, 1, with all of the drinkers and drug users in the town, and 2, with the closing of toilets by the council. A MAN has been charged after defecating in an alleyway in Llandudno.

Michael Martin, 31, will appear before magistrates on January 8, 2024, following an incident in an alleyway off Reform Street on Saturday (November 16).

In a separate incident in Llandudno on Saturday, Dean Roberts was arrested on suspicion of drunk and disorderly behaviour.

Roberts, 54, of no fixed abode, was subsequently charged and will also appear in court on January 8. A North Wales Police spokesperson said: “We received several calls on Saturday morning regarding antisocial behaviour by males congregating near to the Town Hall on Lloyd Street.

“Officers attended on each occasion, and the incidents were mainly verbal altercations between the males.

“Despite speculation on social media, at no point was it suggested to officers that any of the males were in possession of a knife.

“One person was found to be in possession of a piece of wood, however there was no evidence of any offences being committed in this regard.

“Following the arrests of the two men, no further calls were received, and patrolling officers encountered no further incidents of note.”

District Inspector Catherine Walker said: “There was a visible presence of a number of officers patrolling the town over the weekend.

“As previously stated, plans are in place to deal with any criminality in the area, and we are aware of comments on local social media groups regarding alleged antisocial behaviour.

"I would urge the public to report any such incidents directly to us as soon as possible in the first instance, so officers can deal with these issues promptly and robustly as evidenced by these arrests.” From...https://www.northwalespioneer.co.uk/news/24733510.man-charged-defecating-llandudno-alley/
