Well, the old mattress is back again! We ran a few articles on discarded mattresses, and now they are back again! Just to remind people in the community that the Council offers a bulky waste collection service. the first item used to be free now it's not but you get up to four items for £30.25 which is very good, see https://www.conwy.gov.uk/en/Resident/Recycling-and-Waste/Special-Collections/Bulky-Waste-Collections.aspx DRIVERS have been warned to "proceed with caution" after a mattress made its way onto the A55 in Colwyn Bay.
The 'debris' made its way into the middle of the A55 at Junction 20.
Traffic Wales advised motorists to drive with caution, "unless you're in dire need of a nap".
A spokesperson for Traffic Wales said: "There's a mattress in the middle of A55 — proceed with caution unless you're in dire need of a nap."
