Llandudno Library Consultation Document

So the council has it in their own money-wasting minds to remove the Library from the Town Centre and this lovely building to the money-guzzling carbuncle in the last picture! The people of Colwyn Bay fought back and stopped the move to the hated Carbuncle Coed Pella Offices! The Consultation has a set of questions at the beginning called "What are the most important additional services the library could offer you?" Be very careful, this is a trick question, you may choose things the current library does not have, thus supporting the move!   https://www.conwy.gov.uk/en/Council/Have-your-say/Consultations/Llandudno-Library-Consultation/Llandudno-Library-Consultation.aspx

Have your say on the re-location of Llandudno Library

The UK Government recently announced a £10 million investment for Venue Cymru through the Levelling Up programme. This investment gives us an exciting opportunity to consider how we can maximise the benefits of the project for those that live, work and visit the county by considering how we can link services and work differently.

As part of this project and subject to democratic approval, we want to consider moving Llandudno library into the extended Venue Cymru building as we believe there would be many benefits for library users.

We are seeking your views on this option which will help to safeguard and enhance the library for the future. Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey which should take less than 10 minutes.
