Apparently, Llandudno does not have a drug problem! Llandudno is among the top 5 most dangerous small towns in Clwyd, and is among the top 20 most dangerous overall out of Clwyd's 142 towns, villages, and cities. The overall crime rate in Llandudno in 2023 was 113 crimes per 1,000 people. This compares poorly to Clwyd's overall crime rate, coming in 32% higher than the Clwyd rate of 86 per 1,000 daytime population. For England, Wales, and Northern Ireland as a whole, Llandudno is the 145th most dangerous small town, and the 743rd most dangerous location out of all towns, cities, and villages , Annual crime rate in Llandudno postcode area is 1.9 crimes per 1000 people. Compared to the national crime rate, Llandudno's rate is at 70% as of May 2024.
Jodie Hayward, 29, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to the following at Mold Crown Court this morning (May 28):
- Being concerned in the supply of a class A drug (cocaine) between February 12 and April 6.
- Being concerned in the supply of a class A drug (heroin) between February 12 and April 6.
- Possession a class A drug (heroin) with intent to supply on March 14.Hayward, appearing via videolink from custody where she has been remanded, will be sentenced on Thursday, July 4.
A pre-sentence report will be prepared in Hayward’s case in the intervening period.
She has no previous convictions for drugs-related matters, the court heard.
Judge Rhys Rowlands, presiding over today’s hearing, told Hayward she would be given credit when sentenced for pleading guilty.
