There seems to be fights almost every evening in Llandudno these days!
A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault following an incident which saw a Llandudno bar cordoned off by police. Emergency services were called to Fountains Bar and Café in the early hours of Sunday, with the bar reportedly evacuated following the incident.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "We were called at 12.38am on Sunday morning, 14th January reporting an incident at a licensed premises on Upper Mostyn Street, Llandudno. Officers attended and one man was arrested on suspicion of assault.
"Our investigation is currently ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to contact us via our live webchat or 101 quoting ref Q006247." Witnesses reported seeing a person lying on the pavement outside the popular bar on Upper Mostyn Street and a large emergency response at the scene.
It was reported there were nine police cars, an ambulance and a paramedic rapid response car at the scene. One witness said: “There was a massive police presence there.
"They evacuated the pub and cordoned off the whole area."
