So basically what this response means is that by submitting a planning application, you agree for it to become public and displayed anywhere and as this arose following an appalling Abergele Facebook page where they were going through objections and attacking people.s ethnicity, and where they lived that this is all okay?
If someone has been bullied or abused, they should have the right for their name to be omitted.

A recent planning application for Abergele has seen online bullying which has been photographed.
The Group online named planning objectors' names and addresses and discussed their nationality online.
Also, people were being named as objecting despite there being no objections from them.
A number of people were very distressed by this.
Can the council please clarify the following
1, What protection do people objecting to planning applications have from bullying or intimidation regarding planning objections?
2, Have people got the right to cut and paste objections onto social media with addresses?
3, Due to events like this some people may be intimidated not to object, due to this bullying.
4, Can people in these circumstances be protected?
5, What policies does the council have on this?
Please can the council clarify the following
Yours faithfully,

If a member of the public is suffering bullying or intimidation, this may
be a matter for the Police or obtain their own legal advice
2, Have people got the right to cut and paste objections onto social media
with addresses?
Information Not Held, we suggest you contact the social medial company
directly to ascertain their terms and conditions.
3, Due to events like this some people may be intimidated not to object,
due to this bullying.
Noted, no question to respond to.
4, Can people in these circumstances be protected?
Please see response to Q1
5, What policies does the council have on this?
We put a disclaimer on our website to state that we do publish
representations on line: [7]Planning Explorer - Conwy County Borough
Council. We also include this sentence in our neighbour notification
letters: The law requires that any comments received regarding a planning
application become public documents. This means that such comments may be
seen by members of the public, the applicant and can be viewed online.

It is wrong to make the names public and then for people to upload them online and attack them, I think the council know it is wrong but are being very careful about it, as people have pictures of some rather hateful comments from Cllrs and others.
