An awful place!
A CONWY restaurant and takeaway has been handed a new one-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
Rozi's Tandoori, at 119 Station Road, Deganwy was given the score after assessment on June 28, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
The restaurant is rated 3.5 on TripAdvisor based on 87 reviews, yet despite its poor hygiene rating has received good reviews on the site this year.
Less than a month ago, the most recent review praised it for its “stunning, authentic food”, calling it the “real McKoy”.
The three other reviews from this year rated it at least a 4.0, which makes its new hygiene rating even more surprising.
In the Food Standards Agency’s report, Rozi’s hygienic food handling, management of food safety, and cleanliness and condition of facilities and building were all rated ‘improvement necessary.
Rozi’s Tandoori was approached for comment.
